- ***AFTER REPLACEMENT OF THE OIL PICKUP TUBE, RAN THE VEHICLE UP TO NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND THE OIL PRESSURE IS NOW NORMAL (32psi AT HOT IDLE)
- CHECK AND ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE TO RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS ON TIRE.
- -REMOVED DOOR PANEL TO GAIN ACCESS TO SCREWS TO REMOVE THE MASTER WINDOW SWITCH AND BEZEL. -FOUND ONE OF THE TABS THAT HOLDS THE MASTER SWITCH INTO THE BEZEL TO BE BROKEN. -EPOXIED THE TAB BACK INTO PLACE AND REASSEMBLED EVERYTHING. IT SEEMS TO BE HOLDING IN PLACE OK. IF IT BREAKS AGAIN, RECOMMEND REPLACING THE MASTER WINDOW SWITCH BEZEL.
- TEST DRIVE AND ADVISE -SCANNED FOR CODES, NONE ARE STORED IN THE PCM. -STARTED AND RAN VEHICLE. HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE STALLING ISSUE BUT THERE IS A LOW OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR ON THE DASH AT IDLE AND THE ENGINE STARTS TO MAKE A TICKING NOISE. -OVER FILLED THE OIL BY 2 QTS AND JACKED THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE UP AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE TO GET ALL OF THE OIL TO THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE (WHERE THE OIL PICKUP TUBE O-RING IS) AND THE OIL PRESSURE STAYED NORMAL. *ITS POSSIBLE THAT THE ENGINE SHUT ITSELF DOWN AS A SAFETY MEASURE DUE TO SEEING NO OIL PRESSURE. RECOMMEND REPLACING THE OIL PICKUP TUBE O-RING AND DRIVING VEHICLE TO SEE IF THE CONCERN RETURNS. (DON'T FEEL SAFE DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITH THE CURRENT OIL PRESSURE ISSUE)
