  • VEHICLE HAS TROUBLE TURNING OVER, TESTED BATTERY AND IT HAS A BAD CELL- 8.3VOLTS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DUE TO DEAD BATTERY, SCANNED HISTORY AND FOUND P0455 : LARGE EVAP LEAK DETECTED, AND WARNING MESSAGE SAYING TO TIGHTEN GAS CAP -CURRENT P0131 AND P0151 : BANK 1 AND 2 HEATED O2 SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT VOLTAGE LOW – TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND LOOKED AT FUEL TRIMS AND IT WAS RUNNING VERY LEAN – UPSTREAM 02 SENSORS INTERMITTENTLY DROPPING VOLTAGE – LOOKED AT LIVE DATA AND VEHICLE EVAP PURGE SOLENOID WAS CONSTANTLY VENTING – HEARD NOISE COMING FROM UNDER VEHICLE WHILE RUNNING – LIFTED VEHICLE AND FOUND EVAP PURGE LINE CONNECTING TO THE FUEL TANK WAS DISCONNECTED – RECONNECTED THE LINE AND RESET FUEL TRIMS – TEST DROVE VEHICLE WHILE WATCHING FUEL TRIMS, AND THEY ARE STILL LEAN, AND VEHICLE LOOSING POWER WHEN STEPPING HARD ON GAS PEDAL – FUEL PRESSURE IS WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS RECOMMEND REPLACING BOTH UPSTREAM 02 SENSORS AND TEST DRIVING RECOMMEND REPLACING BATTERY ** AFTER REPLACING UPSTREAM 02 SENSORS TEST DROVE VEHICLE AND SAW FUEL TRIMS WERE BETTER, WHEN ON THE GAS THE FUEL TRIMS WERE WITHIN THE 0-10% RANGE ( AND AT IDLE IT WOULD JUMP TO THE LEAN SIDE AT 14 BANK 1-BANK 2 17% – VEHICLE HANGS UP A LITTLE ON THE 1ST TO 2ND GEAR SHIFT AT 5K RPM, BUT LETTING OFF THE GAS IT SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND CONTINUES TO SHIFT NORMALLY THROUGH THE OTHER GEARS – P0174 : BANK 2 FUEL SYSTEM TOO LEAN ** PUT IN KNOWN GOOD NEW MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR AND SHIFT POINTS CORRECTED ITSELF, BUT VEHICLE IS STILL RUNNING VERY LEAN (WHICH MEANS THERE IS A VACUUM LEAK ALLOWING AIR WHERE IS DOES NOT BELONG CAUSING VEHICLE TO RUN LEAN)
  • SMOKE TESTED VEHICLE INTAKE SYSTEM TO VERIFY VACUUM LEAK – FOUND SMOKE LEAKING FROM ENGINE OIL DIP STICK TUBE, ENGINE OIL FILLER NECK, AND A SMALL AMOUNT FROM THROTTLE BODY HOSE CLAMP – CRANK CASE VENTILATION SYSTEM IS CONNECTED TO THE INTAKE MANIFOLD SYSTEM MEANING ANY LEAKS FROM EITHER SYSTEM WILL CAUSE VEHICLE TO RUN LEAN ** AFTER REPLACING DIPSTICK TUBE AND OIL FILLER NECK O-RING, AND TIGHTENING HOSE CLAMP ON THROTTLE BODY, RESET FUEL TRIMS AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE WHILE MONITORING FUEL TRIMS, AND EVERYTHING IS WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS

  • OXYGEN SENSOR – Remove & Replace – Each Additional
  • REMOVE AND REPLACE BATTERY ASSEMBLY
  • CALIFORNIA BATTERY TAX
  • REMOVE AND REPLACE PASSENGER LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULB
  • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
