  • MASTER CYLINDER – Remove & Replace – All Applicable Models – [Includes: Perform ABS Automated Bleed procedure.] – [Includes: Bleed Brake System.
  • POWER BRAKE BOOSTER – Remove & Replace – Vacuum
  • -TEST DROVE VEHICLE. FOUND THAT WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED, THE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE AND A SERVICE BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT WOULD APPEAR ON THE DASH. ONCE OFF THE BRAKES, BOTH WOULD DISAPPEAR. -SCANNED SYSTEMS, NO CODES RELATED TO THE BRAKING SYSTEM WERE FOUND (CEL IS ON WITH UNRELATED CODES FOR THE EVAP SYSTEM;P0449. THERE WERE ALSO 2 HISTORY WHEEL SPEED SENSOR CODES; C0040 AND C0055 THAT HAVE BEEN CLEARED TO SEE IF THEY RETURN) -INSPECTED BRAKE FLUID LEVEL AND FOUND IT TO BE VERY LOW (BELOW MIN MARK) -INSPECTED OUTSIDE OF THE MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE BOOSTER, ALL LINES, FRONT CALIPERS, AND REAR WHEEL CYLINDERS, NO SIGNS OF A LEAK WERE FOUND. -SEPERATED MASTER CYLINDER FROM BRAKE BOOSTER TO INSPECT THE REAR SEAL AND FOUND THAT THE MASTER CYLINDER IS LEAKING INTO THE BRAKE BOOSTER (THERE IS OVER 2 INCHES OF BRAKE FLUID POOLED UP IN THE BOOSTER) *RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER DUE TO LEAK FROM REAR SEAL. ALSO RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF THE BRAKE BOOSTER DUE TO BEING CONTAMINATED WITH BRAKE FLUID WHICH MAY CAUSE ISSUES WITH THE RUBBER SEALS AND DIAPHRAGM IN THE FUTURE WHICH WOULD CAUSE VEHICLE TO LOSE POWER BRAKE ASSIST. *RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT WITH NEW OEM COMPONENTS (NOT AFTERMARKET DUE TO KNOWN FITMENT PROBLEMS)
